Get to know my "why"

For over a decade, I've run veterinary hospital operations across specialty and emergency medicine, academic institutions, and multisite organizations. That work taught me something most training programs still miss: communication isn't a soft skill. It's a clinical competency, and one of the highest-leverage levers a practice has.

In a 30-day coaching pilot across a multi-location veterinary group, one finding stood out: technician communication correlated directly with revenue through diagnostic completion rates.

But the impact goes beyond the practice's bottom line. Everyday friction with clients, not just the blowups, is a real driver of burnout across the whole team. The skills that build trust with clients don't just protect the client relationship. They protect the people delivering the care.

That is why this training exists, not to make veterinary professionals into better salespeople, but to give them the communication tools that make the work more sustainable, and the outcomes better
